The North Face, Inc. is an American outdoor product company specializing in outerwear, fleece, coats, shirts, footwear, and equipment such as backpacks, tents, and sleeping bags. Its clothing and equipment lines are catered towards college students, climbers, mountaineers, skiers, snowboarders, hikers, and endurance athletes. The company sponsors professional athletes from the worlds of running, climbing, skiing and snowboarding.

The interview procedure at The North Face is typical. There is a basic skills assessment which covers topics including but not limited to reading, writing, speaking, and basic math. Applicants must bring their resume with them to the interview. Some applicants go through a email screening before progressing to an in person interview. Former employees have reported that it is important to show that you are capable of handling stressful situations, working in a fast paced environment, have a flexible schedule, and communicating with colleagues. Once through the screening process, all new hires are required to go through a formal training.
