Types of jobs you could find at Starwood®
Concierge
A Starwood's concierge associate is responsible for providing guests all the information and assistance required to make their stay as enjoyable as possible. This includes answering general questions about the areas, making restaurant and sightseeing suggestions, booking arrangements for restaurant reservations, sporting events, shopping trips, and transportation. A concierge will also be responsible for taking and relaying messages, packages, and mail for guests.
Front Desk Agent
Starwood's Desk Agents are responsible for taking ownership of front office tasks. This includes greeting customers, assisting them as they check in and out, assisting customers take and manage reservations, and answering all general questions and concerns. Ideal candidates have a high school or equivalent degree, and one or two years in a hotel or customer-centric environment.
Bell / Luggage Attendant
The Bell / Luggage Attendant is responsible for helping customers as they arrive and depart from the Starwood property. This includes greeting guests outside of the hotel, carrying their luggage and escorting them to the front desk. Upon check-in, the attendant will assist the guests up to their room, informing them of all relevant safety procedures and answering any general questions.
