About Randalls®

Founded in 1966 in Houston, TX, Randall's has expanded to over 100 locations throughout Texas with over 18,000 employees. In 1999, Randall's was acquired by Safeway, and currently operates as their official Texas branch, based out of Houston. Randall's locations offer freshly caught seafood, on-premise bakeries, florists, pharmacies, and banks. Recently, Randall's has introduced premium locations that offer expanded takeout options including fresh BBQ, pizza, and pasta dishes. Some locations even include gas stations, or full-service counters that allow you to renew your driver's license or purchase movie tickets.

Types of jobs you could find at Randalls®

Night Stocker

The main duty of a Night Stocker is to make sure that Randall's Grocery is fully stocked at all times. Night Stockers are required to unload delivery trucks and place the groceries onto the proper shelves. They will need to work efficiently and quickly learn the departments and products. As they will interact with customers, Night Stockers must be friendly and helpful.

Cashier

Cashiers at Randall's are required to provide first-class customer service. Cashiers will greet customers warmly and handle any concerns. Duties include handling groceries carefully, scanning merchandise, entering codes, weighing produce, requesting price checks, and receiving payments. Cashiers must also bag groceries when necessary and maintain a clean work area. Cashiers must be able to lift up to 35 pounds in a fast-paced environment.

Fuel Station Clerk

At Randall's locations with gas stations, Fuel Station Clerks will be responsible for operating a register within their designated booth, including any additional merchandise. They must be able to receive gas deliveries, perform daily safety inspections, and clean windows. Gas Station Clerks should have a high school degree or equivalent work experience and a willingness to work in extreme weather conditions.
