Store Host

The store host is the first person customers contact when they are in the store. This position requires somebody who is friendly and ready to deal with customers at all times. Responsibilities include; welcome customers into the store, give customers proper directions, inform customers on any Ikea activities and offers, have in-depth knowledge of store operations and layout, and always strive to create a positive shopping experience for all customers. Applicants should be self-reliant, computer literate, possess excellent verbal communication skills, able to handle irritated customers in a calm manner, and be able to multi-task.

Good Flow Worker

As a good flow co-worker, you will contribute to the store through replacing any items that are running low ensuring all goods are readily available to customers. This is to be done every day before the store opens. Other responsibilities include; picking goods from the warehouse, unloading goods, and goods transfer within the store. Applicants should be available during early morning hours, should be able to work in a team, and work without constant supervision.

Food Service

Ikea food co-worker serves as the store ambassador to all visitors. Responsibilities include; working to always optimize sales, convert visitors to customers with positive encounters, ensuring products are priced correctly, check to ensure all products are in good condition and have relevant knowledge on all products sold at Ikea. Applicants should be ready to serve, eager to learn, and enjoy working in a team.
