Ethan Allen Global, Inc. is an American furniture chain with almost 300 stores across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1932 by two brothers-in-law, Nathan S. Ancell and Theodore Baumritter.

The interview procedure at Ethan Allen is similar to competitors. There is a common skills assessment which covers subjects including but not limited to reading, writing, articulation, and basic math. Applicants must bring their resume with them to the interview. Some applicants go through a email screening before progressing to an in person interview. Former employees have reported that it is important to show that you are capable of handling stressful situations, working in a fast paced setting, have a flexible schedule, and collaborating with others. Once through the screening process, all new employees are required to go through a formal training.
