Erie Insurance Group is an American multi-line insurance company, offering auto, home, commercial and life insurance through a network of independent insurance agents. Erie Insurance Group's geographic presence extends to 12 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, including Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin. The interview procedure at Erie Insurance Group is straightforward. There is a basic skills assessment which covers topics including but not limited to reading, writing, speaking, and basic math. Applicants must bring their resume with them to the interview. Some applicants go through a online screening prior to progressing to an in person interview. Former employees have reported that it is important to show that you are capable of coping with stressful situations, working in a fast paced environment, have a flexible schedule, and communicating with colleagues. Once through the screening process, all new employees are required to go through a basic training.
