Comcast is the largest supplier of cable and home internet access in the United States and ranks third for home telephone; it also supplies home security in some areas of the country. With both residential and commercial customers, Comcast operates in all but 10 US states. In addition to offering services, Comcast also also has stake in a number of networks, including The Golf Channel, E! Entertainment Television, NBC Sports Network, G4 and the Style Network. Comcast was originally formed in 1963 as American Cable Systems by Daniel Aaron, Julian Brodsky and Ralph Roberts. It was incorporated in 1969 as Comcast, which combines the words "communication" and "broadcast".
