About The Cheesecake Factory®

The Cheesecake Factory is a company that deals with the distribution of cheesecakes and operates as a restaurant. It's based in the US and operates over 180 dining restaurants. Due to its creative and innovative dessert recipes, the company has grown to open two bakery facilities that produce baked goods for its restaurants, third-party clients, and international licenses. The company has expanded Dubai in 2011 and has since grown to about 7 restaurants all over the Middle East. The menu at Cheesecake Factory restaurant consists of about 200 items. The wide variety of items available at the restaurant has largely contributed to its sales. Its core menu consists of appetizers, seafood, salads, burgers, steak, pizza, chicken, and steak. The restaurant boasts of a wide dessert menu that includes its signature original cheesecake dessert among others.

Types of jobs you could find at The Cheesecake Factory®

Cashier

Cheesecake Factory is looking for a positive, upbeat and outgoing person to add to their team in the capacity of a cashier. The cashier will be responsible for all cash transactions within the restaurant while also taking care of customer phone call to the restaurant. Other responsibilities include sharing with customer dessert descriptions over the phone, taking customer orders and processing the orders, and assist customers in making their selection. Applicants have basic calculation skills, should be able to work on their feet and be part of a team. One year experience working in the same capacity in a restaurant is an added advantage.

Dishwasher

To keep up the high cleanliness standards that the Cheesecake Factory has maintained over the years, the dishwasher will be required to ensure all silverware, plate ware and glassware are properly washed and sanitized. This person will also work with other team members to ensure the restraint is well stocked with the said items at all times. Other responsibilities include; ensuring restaurant floor is clean at all times, clean the restrooms and stock all washed items in an orderly manner. Applicants should have at least three months working in a restaurant, should be able to work on their feet and work well with other team members.

Server

Responsibilities for this position include; describing menu items to all guests, take guest orders, serve guests with their food and beverage and process payments. Applicants should have working experience in a restaurant, should be able to communicate in English fluently and work within a team.
