Cablevision is the eighth largest provider of cable services in the United States, serving primarily New York City and adjacent locations in New York State, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Under its sister brand Optimum Westbrand, it services about 300,000 homes in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Montana. Offering a variety of services, Cablevision offers cable television, high-speed internet, digital cable and landline telephone service. Founded in 1973 by Charles Dolan, Cablevision was originally called Sterling Manhattan Cable.

The majority of applicants that interview for a position with Cablevision report a positive interview experience.
