Amerigroup covers 7.7 million seniors, people with disabilities, low-income families and other state and federally sponsored beneficiaries, and federal employees in 26 states, making it the nation’s largest provider of health care for public programs.

The interview procedure at Amerigroup is typical. There is a basic skills assessment which covers subjects including but not limited to reading, writing, articulation, and basic math. Applicants must bring their resume with them to the interview. Some applicants go through a phone screening prior to progressing to an in person interview. Once through the interview process, all new employees are required to go through a introductory training.
